As far as interests go, the links to the various pages on the site may
already say a fair bit about where my interests lie. An important factor
which has driven me to gain interest in these areas has been my main sport
and hobby; Mountain Biking.
I have always enjoyed the sport from an early age and started to move
into the media side of the sport a few years ago when I wanted to just
get shots of various spots I'd ridden. A lot of the pieces of work on
this site come from this point, including photos of biking in the gallery
page. Another good example of this would be some of my video
edits, of which some are trailers to Mountain Biking DVD's I've worked
on in the past. My most recent film project has been on requests of a
race series organiser to create a DVD following a local Downhill race
series, which proved to be a challenge but a rewarding task.
My first website - jab-ride -
brought these interests together as a South East Mountain Biking news
website, where photography from local events are displayed alongside general
news and short film edits.
Whatever the subject has been, my aim has always been to come up with
something artistic and creative, which I feel bares testimony to the art-based
subjects I chose early on in school.
Aside from these subjects I enjoy trail building and have assisted in
the past with planning and constructing Mountain Bike trails at various
bike parks in the South East of England. I also have a small local private
project which consists of mainly timber structures (pictured on the right).
Other sports I enjoy are Tennis, Football and Swimming (I have also dived
once and done a small amount of sailing and plan to do more in the future).

Although several types of media are listed in the site, my main interest lies in
Web Design. My furthest qualification to date is the Master CIW Designer (studied at UK IT
Training in Tolworth) and I have briefly studied
ASP.NET and XML, the fist of the two I wish to carry on studying in the future in more detail.
I am also looking at the possibilities of Flash (briefly studied in CIW) but am currently most comfortable
working in Dreamweaver (XHTML, CSS) and Photoshop.
